Adventures of Day 9
Well, let's start with the good news... Ethan slept through the night last night!!!! We (Jared & I) both got some much needed good sleep and woke up refreshed in the morning. Now for the potentially bad news... Ethan has already woken up a few times as I sit here writing this around 10pm on Tueday night. So we will be ready for the night tonight after a good night sleep last night, but we are praying that God would comfort him tonight and help him (and us) sleep. This is one of those funny things you never think about before kids, how precious sleep is and vulnerable you are to this tiny person's schedule.
So we had another outing today: the fabric store! Ethan's favorite. I was looking for some room darkening material to cover his window (anything to help starfish sleep better) and there we were in Hancock fabric. I decided that I was strong enough to just carry Ethan in the store, but now my arm muscles are telling me otherwise. Then we stopped by Big Lots just to see if there was anything fun in stock. Ethan found a picture frame to put in front of his face and hide from me, then peak out, then hide again, which occupied a good bit of time. That was fun and we had some good giggles in Big Lots.
Not really much else about the day. He isn't eating a whole lot, but then again its not like he's active enough to neeed a lot of food. Our adventures with starfish continue (just hopefully not into the night).
Thankful for:
Retail stores we can hang out in when it's too cold to walk around outside, cookie dough John & Caroline brought over, being suprised by seeing Alice in Target and getting a good hug, and more fun cards in the mail.
No pictures today---- I forgot! Never again... maybe.

Gregg and I are praying for ya'll. I am so sorry about poor little Ethan. My heart goes out to ya'll. I can't imagine going through this. God must have someone in the future for you to really comfort with the comfort you have have received from so many. Love, Deanna
Yep, today's a dud day. I can't think of anything cool to say. I've mentioned to Lynn that I don't see her name on here either. She says "hey," and that today's been a hectic (in her words "crazy ass") day at work--that she's too lazy to type tonight. So there you go. That's what you get for not posting any pictures.
